The 2:3 portrait canvas is optimized for a standard Pinterest Pin. The preview lens keeps faces, logos and essential text away from edges that may be rounded or cropped in different layouts.
Your source image stays on this device. RankSmartTools processes and exports the image locally in your browser.
A strong pin thumbnail should look intentional at full size and remain clear when Pinterest displays it in a compact interface. This generator creates an exact 1000 × 1500-pixel image, gives you a live crop preview and shows a safe zone for the details that matter most.
Pinterest favors a vertical canvas that occupies useful space in the feed. The image should establish a clear hierarchy from subject to supporting text while remaining useful when saved to a board or found through search.
Start with a source image large enough to cover the 1000 × 1500-pixel canvas without enlargement. Establish one primary subject, then place any supporting text inside the safe-zone lens. Short headlines, generous spacing and clear contrast are more dependable than small captions or crowded decoration.
Use PNG when the design contains crisp lettering, diagrams or interface graphics. JPG is usually efficient for photography, and WebP can reduce file size while preserving useful detail. Social platforms may recompress uploads, so inspect the downloaded image before publishing. The quality control applies to compressed formats, so begin near the high end and reduce it only when a smaller file is important. The downloaded dimensions remain 1000 × 1500 pixels regardless of the selected format.
Scroll past the exported Pin at a reduced width and check whether its idea is still immediate. Keep important text within the safe area and avoid placing a logo or callout directly against the top or bottom edge.
The safe-zone overlay is a composition guide rather than part of the exported file. Turn it off briefly to inspect the clean image, then turn it back on before the final download. If the source contains a face or logo near an edge, reduce the zoom or reposition the crop until every essential detail has comfortable clearance.
Your selected image is cropped, resized and encoded locally in the browser. It is not uploaded to RankSmartTools for processing. This makes the tool suitable for portraits, client assets, unreleased campaigns and brand files that should remain on your device. When the export is complete, you can replace the image and create another variation without signing in.
