Evidence-backed crawl & Core Web Vitals diagnostics · Zero server storage
Encrypted Client Request

Only public HTTP and HTTPS websites are allowed. Auditing runs securely on the RankSmartTools engine with zero data persistence.

Methodology & Standards

How the RankSmartTools SEO Audit Scanner Works

Unlike legacy cloud crawlers that proxy through proprietary third-party servers and monetize scraped client queries, RankSmartTools executes evaluation passes deterministically inside an isolated sandbox conforming to Google Search Essentials.

Zero Data Retention

Your scanned URLs, source code payloads, and generated diagnostic reports are never stored on persistent disk or transmitted to advertising trackers.

Google Search Essentials 2026

Diagnostic benchmarks mirror current documentation for mobile-first indexing, Core Web Vitals thresholds (INP, LCP, CLS), and structural markup semantics.

Deterministic Parsing

Checks DOM hierarchy trees using standards-compliant HTML5 tree construction algorithms, identifying broken tags and duplicate microdata schemas.

SEO Audit Scanner FAQs

The SEO Audit Scanner is a free tool for reviewing one public webpage for technical, on-page and metadata issues. Its findings include evidence and practical recommendations to help you decide what to improve.

Paste the complete HTTP or HTTPS URL into the Website URL field and select Run audit. Review the findings, check the evidence against your page, and use the relevant recommendations to plan your changes.

Yes. The SEO Audit Scanner is free to use, and you can enter a public page URL without creating an account.

No. Each audit checks the public page URL you submit. To review more of your website, run separate checks for important pages such as your homepage, service pages, product pages and blog posts.

The audit runs on the RankSmartTools server. The URL you enter is sent when you select Run audit so the server can request the public page and analyze its response.

An incorrect URL, an unavailable website or restrictions on automated requests can prevent a scan from completing. Use a complete public HTTP or HTTPS URL and check that the page is accessible without a login. A scan error alone does not mean the page has an SEO issue.

No. The report helps you identify page-level improvements, but it does not guarantee rankings or traffic. Review each recommendation in context and consider whether your content meets the needs of the people visiting the page.

Run another check after publishing relevant changes to your content, metadata or page template. Revisit important URLs during routine maintenance, and compare the findings to see which issues still need attention.
